Easter Fun

One of the best things about my parent's home is the yard, and the swingset is a super big hit with all the grandkiddos. Even baby Keira LOVED going down (with help)!Scott and Cadence gearing up for the flydown.

Did you know plastic eggs spin just like tops? Super entertaining - we had about a dozen going and this kept us entertained for probably WAY too long.


I love Easter - not just the fun, but the meaning. Easter music is the best, and the gift of the resurrection is one of my favorite things to study in the scriptures.

2012, 1st Quarter

So I was given the best Valenines day present EVER, by the best friend EVER! I mean, Twilight's Bella rivals and awesome music mixes - totally laughed my head off (and loved the music! Thanks Kimberlee)

Valentines day festivities included an awesome bike ride with these 3 beauties intow.

I visited the US Capitol - both house and senate - contacting our state legislators and reps as part of a National Association for the Education of Young Children advocacy conference. Here, Kathy and I are with Represtantive Mike Lee, from southern Utah. We have some work to do with him and his team!

I can't go to DC without stopping to see the Morrey Family.

Fifth Grade field trip wih Emery and her school to Discovery Gateway's mini city - Emery worked in the radio station for the day and I helped the kiddos in Smith's Market Place.
