My secret is OUT!

There is no longer a safe place to hide the truth - only the unpleasant task of facing it. My entire sense of self was exposed today as I sat face-to-face with a man who has a rare gift - the ability to know everything about you (your past, strengths, weaknesses, areas of success, areas of failure, your ability to communicate with and relate to others, etc.). No, I am not crazy and neither is he - this is his gift, and he uses it well (to help others move along a path of success). He doesn't know anything about me outside of who I work for - he simply observed my behavior, body language & expressions, and my interactions with others. As we sat looking at each other after a four hour meeting where I was consistently under his viewing eye I couldn't help but wonder, "who've you been talking to?" knowing it couldn't be anyone because I am pretty sure no one knows some of the things about me he so adequately delclared to be a part of my being.

So what is this secret...what can I no longer hide? Well...that is between him and me, so I guess it isn't really "out" - and yes all you crazy people out there, I am straight! I must admit, however, I was quite taken back with his accuracy about me and the professional perception I have of myself, as well as that of others , but it was truly spooky to hear all the personal stuff. . . . .
